I am extremely thankful for being able to see a new year!! As we all know that so much tragedy happened last year that we all should be grateful. As I take this time to reflect over this past year, I can honestly say that 2012 was not a bad year at all. I accomplished some of my goals for that year. I was blessed to have had a job for almost 11 years, and to have amazing friends that I call family. I left my Target family and entered my field of study. I love getting the experience that will lead me on in my future. I'm also thankful for the new friends I met at my new place of employment that I will forever be connected to. I believe that I started becoming a better person all around, even though that still needs work :). Me and the love of my life reached our three year mark :). I started working on my books again and started this blog. All & all I can say 2012 was still a blessed year for me.
Goals...
I don't usually say resolutions, I say goals because I pay more attention to that word. My main important goal for this year is to put more God in my life and have a spirit of gratitude. I want my faith to increase in Him. I have always prayed that God will use me as a blessing to others, and I feel Him doing that, and I believe that this year He is going to really me moving and sending me out to explore new horizons. I also want to continue to grow better and healthier in every area of my life. I want to start saving up for a house and getting my finances in order, my car will be paid off this year, God willing!! I also plan to take the GRE and get my masters. That was a goal I didn't complete last year :). I know I'm leaving some goals out, but those are some of the main ones. I'm also excited about turning 30 this year, God Willing!! Some people dread this age, but to me it's just the beginning of a new decade to do more positive things. I'm going to do some reflections of course on that day also. I'm going to strive to do more of my creative works and stay with it, i.e. this blog.
Whether you say resolutions or goals, I pray that you have the faith and determination to complete them. Do not worry about what others have to say, if it's something you want to work on, do it for yourself.!!! Wishing you many blessings throughout this year and those to come...
